What is Slime-sama?
vanessa: Well, he's our mascot! At first it as going to be Rock-chan and Co. but Addie decided to make Slime-sama & Friends so we went with that. Rock-chan is a sub-group just for the founders~ Now, if you mean Slime-sama the whole enchilada then we're a cosplay group! We were formed "officially" in June 03, 2008! We're pretty new to the whole scene but people such as Addie and Mayumi have been cosplay for a while, at least, compared to the other members.
What have you cosplayed?
vanessa: Ahaha...well actually we're in the state of making all the stuff. We have trialed WEWY and that came out pretty good (Mayumi got Neku headphones from Addie for her party) so we're going to work on that before Fanime '09 gets out. We're going to do our own concepts because we need publicity besides anime/manga stuff you know? We even thought of selling prints on DA but we're still deciding. We have Paradise Kiss and Ouran High School Host Club in mind as well.

vanessa: Oh yeah! We have a website and other accounts on different sites! This website is one of them~ Go click on links and find us on other websites!
What do you think makes your cosplay group different?
vanessa: Our age. xD Addie said that our brains are the most creative at our age so we're going to use that to our advantage! We don't want to sound too over-confident...because we're not.
What are your ideas? Are you elites in cosplay? Stuck-up?
vanessa: speak for all when I say, "COSPLAY IS FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE FUN WITH." No one can be elite or stuck-up. We're all fellow nerds and should be proud of it. I mean, seriously. You won't make too much friends. As for us, we're nothing like that. D: We're too shy to even ask people for pictures (Mayumi, myself, Addie, Hannah, Helen). I feel out-nerded when I saw people cosplay at Fanime. OH GOD IT WAS SO HARD JUST TO ASK OR EVEN LOOK IN THEIR DIRECTION. Oh the horror...*sobsob*
mayumi: ..We're planning on abusing Tricia's outgoing-ness to get photos :D
Do you commission?
vanessa: Sadly no. Not yet. Maybe? We're still deciding amongst ourselves. Addie said if she was to make anymore Neku headphones, she'd make the buyer pay $100 a phone xD..not a good offer, ne? You see, we don't have a Paypal account and therefore, nowhere to store our money. Not only that but if it's anime, we'd be going against copyright. We don't want to go to jail or anything. When we make our own concepts, maybe, but until then, no.
Why did you make the group?
vanessa: Well...it was a bit my fault. You see, I wanted my friends to back to the park near my school for a photo shoot. So I told them, they liked the idea, and we wanted to do more than just that. So we all pitched in and said, "Let's make it officiall!!!!1!" So we did. Website, accounts, etc. Just to make it official and so we wouldn't forget the name. Slime-sama is easy to remember right?
Are you professionals?
vanessa: AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA... NO. Hmm....is it a job to be a cosplayer? Because if it is, I'll be RIIIICH. Not really. :/ We make our stuff. Accessories to the cosplay. The wigs, we buy. Of course, we won't yank out our own hair and make a wig. THAT'S STUPID. We already have hair. Well, we'll be "good" but we're not professional.
mayumi: We're certainly not 'professionals', but we try to be as accurate as possible when it comes to making cosplay.
addie: I don't think there's such a thing as a professional cosplayer..
What do you feel like accomplishing while you're in Slime-sama?
vanessa: Well, photography skills, designing skills, and to show that you can do a lot of things despite your age and no matter what background you come from. We want to prove to the world that you can do a lot if you put your mind into it and put your hobby and desire into reality. At least, for a little while.
Do you hire photographers, make-up artists, your mom?
vanessa: OKAY. YOU KNOW WHAT. WE DO NOT HIRE OUR MOTHERS. THEY'D BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE PROFESSIONALS. SERIOUSLY. No, we don't hire anyone. We're broke. We have our own photography crew (with me being the lead photographer) and make-up artists and stuff. If we need our mama's, we'll ask them without money. Mmmmmkaythnx.
Are you single?
vanessa: ME? NO. I'M MARRIED WITH 8 CHILDREN. 4 BOYS AND 4 GIRLS.....jkjk. I am single (don't tell Angela because she'll kill me....AND LEAVE ME FOR MEISSSSSSSSSSSSHA. NOOO.) Ahem. Only friends understand. Yes, we're all single. No matter the picture or...or....cosplay. SERIOUSLY, GIVE US A CALL.
